My little daughter is all of 5 years old and yesterday she was insisting that I teach her to drive the car. Well, “ Sweetheart “ I said , “ when you get as old as Dad you can by yourself a nice little car, learn to drive and take me for a drive “ . She cutely turned around and said “ But Dad , when I grow up to be as old as you – You will be dead !!!! “ . Wow, with one stroke of innocence she socked me on the jaw and I  felt myself dropping hard onto the floor.

How many of us give any thought to the fact that some day will be our last day – not many, I guess, as we are all busy with just living. She had me thinking about this journey of life that we all embark on from our birth when we enter with a bang all crying and screaming and in the end depart without a whimper in silence with everyone around crying and screaming. Ever wondered if all the crying is because they will miss us for the little value we added to their life’s or is it because they have been left no inheritance !!!.

As for me, I am now busy looking for ways to make myself immortal and in fact have started drawing out a list of all my friends who will be invited to my 100th birthday celebrations. However, I wonder if anyone of them will still be standing then or they will all be dead as well !!!!
