Writing is never a task. It is a venue to express oneself and be rewarded of the joys of being able to share what you know and inspire others.

A Triond Neophyte

I have been writing for Triond for just seven days and I have found it exciting. Almost after several minutes, I’d check on my published content, whether I got views of my article and how much it generated. I’m hooked. I could see the earning potential of writing for this company as long as I consistently submit some interesting articles. I found out that titles matter a lot.

In a matter of seven days, I wrote 18 articles, shared nine pictures and two of my videos. I never thought I could do that.

My Writing Background

I’m used to writing technical papers or articles. I’m not used with journalistic type of writing. With my participation at Triond, I realized I liked to write about other things that interest me. Besides, Triond gave some tips on how to be an effective writer and potentially be heard by millions of internet users.

I’m freed of the highly restrictive form of technical writing. I can let my ideas flow. I write fast and capture my thoughts and I feel addicted doing it. It gave me the chance to see which topics I could excel just by simply looking at the number of views my articles generated. And I get ideas on what works and what does not.

Thoughts That Inspire

I never thought I could inspire people in my write ups although only one said he/she liked one of my articles. But I feel I’ll get more feedback through time. Besides, my writing is just a few days old. Comparing it with others, it took some time for articles to get some feedback. And I thought, I’m doing good somehow. I write with passion. And I’m so glad I can share what I know and feel. It’s therapeutic.

People are hungry for information. Just like me, they keep looking for articles that would uplift their life, lift up their spirits, fill-up gaps in information, and identify with the writer. People need compassion, to be heard, to be inspired and to be loved.

Final Thoughts

Kudos to Triond for leasing out a new life of writing for me. I intend to publish a thousand articles! Well, that would be too much but I found it better to have a grand goal than be contented with a few articles and complain nothing’s happening. Nobody can pay the inspiration and satisfaction that you get from writing and having it read by many people. You cannot underestimate the power of WORDS! Words can change people in one way or the other. For me, writing, or to be more specific, writing freely to express your ideas, is LIFE itself.

Thanks Sean. Yesterday, I was all the more inspired seeing one of my articles, for the first time, had more than 80 views! It’s exhilarating.

    Hi Patrick,

Enjoyed your articles, thanks. Like you I’ve started at Triond just a couple of days back and I’ve enjoyed writing. They have prompt service and are professional with the layout. I don’t know about the earning potential yet. Yesterday, it was very funny to notice that a teenage girl walking past our garden chucked an empty beer can into our garden Here in Finland you get about 20 cents from recylcling machines. I worked a long time on one article and it’s earned less than that.
I guess we learn to produce the kind of stuff people are interested in rather than what writers are interested in. It’s a wonderful learning experience.

Keep on writing. All the best to you!

    Cheers
    Rana

Thanks Rana. Although we might earn a little as we write, there’s always the possibility that the merits of your article will be discovered. Besides, there are different types of people using the internet. And most of them are young. I agree with Triond’s tip that you should imagine your target audience. I expect some articles to be read less but that’s fine with me because I would like to share to many different groups of people.
I guess you’re right that we write articles that people are interested in. And you will not know it unless you keep on writing and see which articles get read more and think about it. That’s what I do and that’s what happened. Those I wrote casually got read more and those which I gave some thought got read less. So you’ll never know. I enjoy the challenge.

I like your attitude, and can feel your energy through this article..Keep writing, first and foremost, because you love to write..

Thanks IcyCucky, I stopped writing for a while because of a finger wound that’s painful when I try to type. Nearly losing its function really made me think. Without even one of our body’s members, our body could not function well. Besides, I was occupied with school work.

I stop in as often as I can to see what everyone is writing about and always find something that grabs my attention. Sometimes I leave a comment or just simply let the writer know I liked it by clicking the button. I always feel that it is up to each of us to encourage each other to continue writing. We all have something within us that drives us to write and share, so keep it up!

Thanks Gail. I agree that simple comments on an article really keep a person’s writing spirit up.
