Week one of the journal of the prophet.

Dear Father,

I have decided to journal to the public, to give others an insight of what being a prophet really means, and how we feel as people. They misunderstand that sometimes a prophet speaks through their own spirit, and not the spirit of God. We assume like any other human being, and make mistakes as any other man.

When I speak about my own feelings, they believe it is something that will always occur, some sort of futuristic occurrence when that is not always the case, as you know Dad. If I state that I hope that does not happen, and it happens, they assume it is a false prophecy that did not occur. They look for future from me constantly, and I find this a grievance, and quite the load to bare to be honest. As you know Dad, I do not know every thing that will happen.

Throughout the bible when a prophet gives a prophecy, it is usually followed by the Lord told me, or thus sayeth the Lord. I had this occur recently in a forum, when I was only being sarcastic that I would see this person on a profile, and it was brought up that the prophecy did not occur. It was not a prophecy, it was sarcasm that like attracts like and I assumed they would be drawn to each other as previous occurrences indicated. I never said thus sayeth the Lord, or the Lord told me so. I used the word next is why, and every time I use the word next, they want to see some sort of future thing occur. That is not how it works!

Prophecy entails more then knowing the future. The bible states prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ. Prophecy is also uplifting to the body of Christ, which that in itself can be misunderstood. They see the word uplift, and think it is always these wonderful messages of “you’ve done well son.”, however, uplifting to the word of God might mean a good scolding to go back to the word of God they are not hearing at the moment. What a load to bare! Prophecy also enables you to know personal things about others as Jesus at the well, but sometimes due to pride others do not admit you are right. This has occurred to me several times.

I plan on writing once a week, a journal entry to you Dad, and a public journal of the prophet for others to see her heart.

Love Dawn, your ever loving daughter.
