Ssshhhsss, cui cui cui, quak quak, hiss, whoooosh, zZZzzz, hahaha.
Sound is present everyday everywhere all around us. It is present in many forms, in many unexpected forms which we do not often recognise. So, as not to be confused, I always classify sound into two groups; the natural sound and the sound make by things, made by human beings.

The natural category has usually an uneven and strange sound but it is soothing and beautiful to hear and to see, for instance, the chirping of birds, the rustling of the wind, the sudden falling of water which can drift anyone in the world of fantasy and imagination. I, myself, am fascinated when I hear the sweet twittering and melodious chirping of the birds, thrilled when I feel the wind blowing against my face as if it has to tell me something, and excited when I get the magnificent view and hear the sound of rushing water down the fall. That is why I like best to hear the sound of the water when it falls down, for example a waterfall.

The other sounds I like to hear which fall in the man-made category are the ringing of bells, the sound of typing and also the tick-ticking of clocks. They are the three favourites of mine. I like to hear the sound of ringing bells because it brings up the feeling of religion and I get peace of mind for at least one or two minutes from this world full of cruelty, injustice and misunderstanding. I like hearing the sound of typing as the tip-tipping of the keys give me a strange sensation of thrill, of excitement, of …. Whenever I hear the clock ticking, I feel as if time is just rushing by without any problem, without being disturbed or frustrated and let time pass by.

Finally, the sound which I like very much hearing is music. Music is a rhythmic, continuous sound that involves songs (Indian, European, …) and many songs of films. European songs are very swing and rock songs and make you love dancing. Indian songs have a melodious and soothing sound and they contain some sense in the songs. Nowadays, a film will succeed only if music is present.
Sound is omnipresent.
