It all started the week of July 4 2007. This one week started a string of fantastic months to come, and they are still flowing steadily to this day. As I have recently been told it is just going to keep climbing for the good. I Thank God for these times everyday that this greatness happens.

First on July 12, 2007 I received an e-mail from my favorite game site giving me 2 free weeks of membership without credit card information. In which was very coincidental because just a few days before I was asking members in the site on how I get a free pass without needing a credit card. During my free weeks I had won another month free in the game, I was elated as I continued to win free stuff aside from the tokens they usually give out. When my free play was almost to an end I got a membership for my birthday, Wow another free year…

On July 17, 2007 I was broke and had a doctors appointment, I was able to scratch together $3.00. But for some strange reason, instead of using that last $3.00 for the bus to get there (as It is a half-hour walk), I purchased a scratch ticket. On my walk I started scratching the ticket, each letter I scratched off made me excited, half way there is another variety store and by the time I reached that point I had won $50 and had met someone I knew who drove me the rest of the way. That night my stepfather came over for a visit a surprise to me because he and my mother live in Newfoundland and I reside in Ontario. As he was there he added a link to my only published book to his well-viewed and profitable web-site that has generated more sales all over Canada and the United States

On July 4,2007, being a Rogers phone subscriber, I received a call from a Bell Canada rep, with an offer too good to pass up. Paying way less then I do with Rogers and having more features and more TV packages including at east $400 in credits, I jumped on that deal. Bell Canada arrived at 10:00 am on July 18, 2007 as they were scheduled to arrive between 5pm and 9pm. This was great for me because I did not have to wait around the house as planned that day. But they forgot something in my TV order so I spent 4 hours on the phone (instead of going out) to get the order fixed, well just after I finished with them I hung up the phone and it rang instantly to hear my ex-sister-In-law on the other end.

She let me know there was a job opening at a position that I am used to, (even though I was not searching for work, in truth working hadn’t even crossed my mind). The next day I went in to apply for the job, I had neither resume ready nor anything to prove that I had experience in the field. The hire just wrote my phone numbers on the back of my ex-sister-in-laws resume.

On July 22, 2007, My boyfriend called to let me know that Casino Rama sent me a birthday card (they always send it early as my birthday is August 8th). I took the bus to his house and opened the card, I thought “ so what” they send me one every year and it always ends up in the trash. This one was different, it included a free breakfast buffet for two, “WOW”, that was a first” I thought, but exciting as things were going my way for weeks, so why was I surprised? (Incidentally it never got used but the thought was there.

On July 23,2007 I received a call on my voice mail that I was to start on Wednesday July 25th at 9:00am. I was shocked, especially when I arrived thinking it was a part time position, having being told I was hired for full time at $8.40 an hour. The premise was to have three days of training before being set on my own. My first day went very good as the workers and my supervisor was giving me praise for the great work I had done. As She was shocked when asked to do a certain job and had done it in a way no one has ever tried (I completed the task without half ass work as everyone else had done before me). The next day I was set on my own because they had thought I did not need to continue my training as I did so well the day before.

On August 1, 2007 I was told they are putting me on part time and on call because two previous employees had just returned from maternity leave and surgical leave, so they had too many full time employees. I was quite upset and went to my boyfriend’s house down the street to stew in the news, He suggested calling the establishment next to it. I called and to my surprise they were looking for a full time employee and got and interview for 20 minutes later. The next day they called back to let me know to start on August 4th 2007. This time I had full training lasting two weeks (one week for each part of my job), The pay was $9.00 getting a raise and benefits after three months,

I have a few weeks to go before that sets in. My days of going broke seem to be over, it seems something in me after getting the second job clicked in my mind that I never want to be in that position ever again. My first pay had not come yet so money was still scarce but My good Lord had decided to help me out in that aspect… Oh thank God for his mercy on me…

On August 3, 2007, I received a call about a bed that I had for sale for three months in a buy and sell paper. I was sure that when they arrived a few hours later they would try to lower the price as it was listed at $150.00 but when they arrived they took one look at the bed and handed me the whole amount. They placed the bed in their truck and went on their way. From that day on, before arriving to work I would stop at the connivance store to purchase a few scratch tickets. Each time I won between $20 to $100, which I put into a savings account to save for a trip to Cuba, I started these savings back in June 2007 and had planned to have at least $800 saved by the end of January 2008. It is now only early October and my savings have already exceeded that amount due to all my winning through the tickets and at Casino Rama.

On September 3,2007 I had to take a month off of work due to my health, I was feeling really bad about my health after losing 30 lbs and passing out after work. A week later I visited a physic out of the blue, which forecasted great things for my future, I believed this forecast because she was dead on about my past, even details no one could know and even what I was thinking about my health.

Today October 13, 2007, My boyfriend and I went to Casino Rama and I came away with $150 which I started with $50 so the remaining $100 has gone into my savings bringing the total to $817.85
