The risk in motorcycle riding.
Today! Traffic is a usual thing in my country (Nigeria) which occurs on daily bases and this has lead to the dead of many loved ones as well as destruction of people’s assets.
Due to the careless and impatient drivers who drive recklessly without considering the risk and the life of passerby, thereby, causing a huge traffic and sometimes leads to a vital accident that destroys life.
In Nigeria to start with, the bad construction of roads has a deadly effect on the lives of Nigerian, mostly motor cycle Rider/Passerby. In normal circumstances, roads are mainly built in different dimension, (the coming/going lane doubled sided with demarcation, attached motor cycle/passerby lane both the two side).
But due to the selfish and self-centered Building Engineer entrusted to carry out the building project, the roads are not properly constructed.
Moreso, poor management of the road by traffic officers add more insult to injury.
It is a pity! I lost a friend, this is someone I so much cherished, loved, and count on. All my life I have learnt how to be patient, tarry and cope with situation of life by him, (late friend)….
But today, he has passed unto the silent ones finally kicked the bucket, leaving the loved ones behind with endless pain and tears. Which he never one day predict or assumed.
This a friend, who was joyfully returning from place of work, on the way get hooked up with traffic jam.
“To fastening journey”, he bought a motor cycle Rider normally known in Nigeria as (Okada), “unknown to him”, that will be his last visit which no one can predict.
The so called Okada/Motor cycle rider pick off, trying to make his way off, thereby jump passing and entering all tight corner to fasten movement. (Not noticing a trailer).
Suddenly! Go jammed and crushed by the trailer, they both died instantly.
This is a red letter day in my life, unforgettable sorrow and pain.
