My brother has a Toyota pickup truck painted like a Zebra! It even comes with fuzzy zebra seat covers. I’m going to be writing stories about cool/random/funny events that happen with the truck.
This is my first article, and it is about my brother’s zebra truck. My brother has a Toyota pickup and it is painted like a zebra and has fuzzy zebra seat covers. My step-dad painted it many years ago, and a couple of years ago my older brother, Tyler, fixed it up and got it working again for his senior project in high school.
Whenever we drive it around anyplace, people are always saying its cool, tight, awesome, sweet, etc. Some people even take out their cell phones and take pictures! This never gets old. We are used to driving around in it and don’t really think it is that big of a deal, but apparently a lot of people do. We even made a fan page about it on Face book. If you want to become a fan, you can just search in the search bar for “The Zebra Truck”.
Yesterday afternoon, my brother drove me to my friends house in the zebra truck. No big deal, right? Well when we were pulling off the exit a car full of teenage girls started waving out the window and taking pictures with their cell phones. Of course, since my brother and I are very nice, we just went along with it and wove back. The girls freaked out and started saying stuff like, “We love your truck!” “You’re awesome!” and several other things similar to that.
After I was done hanging out with my friends, I had to walk to my brother’s work so he could give me a ride home after his shift was over. So I got there at like 10PM and he got off at 11PM. We finally headed outside to go home and we saw two friends of a co-worker taking pictures of the truck. They saw us coming out and so they ran to their cars and pretended like nothing happened! I thought it was pretty funny. We don’t care if people take pictures of it.
Also, last night when my brother and I were driving home after my brother’s work shift, we were at a red light at an intersection and another car full of people pulled up beside us. They freaked out too. They pulled out their cell phones and everything but the light turned green so they couldn’t get a picture. Sad day.
Right after that, we went to Del Taco because it is one of the only restaurants open at 11:30PM on a Monday night. After we had gone through the drive-through, another car was just pulling into the drive-through. They rolled down their windows and said our truck was awesome. It was funny because their car had zebra seat covers.
Thanks for reading my first article. I will get back on when there are some more events that aren’t ordinary.
Thanks!
