Some things I remember my grandma telling me. She recently passed away.

1. I don’t mind what you eat, but I mind what you waste.

2. If that’s the worst thing you ever do in your life, consider yourself blessed.

3. I’m an old lady!  You have to let me win!

4. Parents have to discipline, grandma’s get to spoil.

5. I get to feed you sweets because I don’t have to pay the dentist bill.

6. You are so precious to me

7. Hello, onion, I mean youngin’.

8. We would say “I love you,” and she would reply ” You better, or I’ll beat knots on your nose.  then you’ll be a sknotty nose kid”

I love my grandma very much.  I know that not many people will read this, but I wanted to write something about her.  I miss her very much.

What a wonderful tribute. Grandparents have so much to offer.

This reminds me so much of how my mother is with my own children. I hope they remember her as you remember your grandma, with love and happy memories. That’s how people live on after they are gone.
