Can anyone tell me what happened to love, humility, appreciation, happiness, dignity, pride, it seems everyone in the world has lost their since of logic, and and respect for one another. Why is it that teenagers are told they are to young to understand, or they are to young to make decisions for themselves? Why is it that racism is still rearing its ugly head into peoples lives? Why is it that adults think they know so much about everything that they no longer have to listen to the youth? Also, why kids are we running around like we don’t know right from wrong, or that there isn’t anything better for us to do rather than smoke weed or do drugs.

Can someone help me with this, and give me some help in figuring this out. Why is it that people over 30 feel they just absolutely know more than the youth. I look at it this way. The world we have inherited is falling a part, if not dying. Our climate is ailing, public schools discourage and push kids away more than they educate, and help. Our economy has fallen a part, and greed chokes our land. If adults are so much smarter than the youth, why is it that when global warming was discovered decades ago, no one took action. I know as early as the mid 70s global warming was brought to congress, and the world, yet no one acted on the information. Now we have allowed the ice caps to retreat so much that the polar bears are suffering, and all around the world we are running out of food, and fresh water. If adults are so smart why would they elect a president, such as George Bush, into office twice. its amazing to me how we can go from $200,000,000,000 surplus into a $8,000,000,000,000 deficit. I believe if my generation had switched places with the adults, bush would have been impeached. If adults are so smart, how in the hell can they nag at Obama for spending to much because he wants to correct a problem he was left with. Also can anyone tell me how kids of the 21st century can learn in schools that are using 100 year old methods. Did you know a study was done showing that television has shortened a child’s attention span? The television screen changes every 3 to 6 seconds. Meaning kids have gotten use to having things quick, and right in front of them. So how in the hell do you stick today’s kid in a classroom that is boring, and filled with boring lectures? So can you enlighten me on how a kid is suppose to learn anything. On top of that you teach us what you think we should know, and not what we should know. Is it smart to teach us all the things you used to tear the world up in the first place, instead of things that will repair what is wrong with the world, like the economy and climate.
