Have you ever noticed that when you are tired and don’t have any extra time, that is when everything happens; do we actually attract these occurrences.
1. Loud Commercials – There needs to be a regulation on how loud commercials can be, I will have the volume set for a show I am enjoying and some of the commercials increase their volume to such a level, that I mute the television. Advertisers listen up, unless you are selling hearing aids, it does no good to make your audience turn the volume down, you’ve lost the sale.
2. Too many items in the Express Isle at the Grocery Store - Here the sign clearly states 12 items or less, and this person in front of you have at least 23 items that have to be scanned in. They clearly have more important things to do then anyone else, so we should just allow this courtesy.
3. Too eager to please Restaurant Manager – You go to a restaurant with a person you enjoy talking to, where you enjoy the ambiance and the food. You sit down to have a good dining experience and the manager needs to know if you are happy with your table placement, why yes you are. So you then order your drinks and meal, and the manager stops to ask another question of utmost importance, interrupting your conversation with your friend. By the third time they stop by your table, you want to jump up and say, “Hey I will let you know if things aren’t to my liking, and right now you are the only part of this experience that is unacceptable, so back off!”

4. Do you mind holding – When they are polite enough to ask, have you ever notice, they do not give you time to answer. I would answer “for how long”, if they took the time to wait for my answer. They place you on hold and generally, they do not take the time to get the information you need to get to the correct customer service person. So you are on hold again, for someone that you didn’t need to talk to anyway. Some corporate executive thought this system up to save money on labor and I get that, but then less call it customer DIS-service.
5. Sign up for this Free Service – You can look at all the stuff you want on this site for free for 30 days, however in order to get the 30 days, you will have to give us all of your financial information in case you have a life and forget to cancel the service; we get your money. And this process of signing up is relatively simple, however to discontinue the service, you may spend a lifetime finding the link to discontinue and that one piece of information you need to cancel, say the account number, is not included on the email you kept when you signed up to begin with. It is sad that the word Free, now means BEWARE.
