I am an owner of two Askal dogs. They are always there for me when I need them and I don't care what their breed is. I love them and to me Askal means, "Special, good dogs." They're my pets and I love them no matter what! I can't help it, I just dont have the heart to hit them for doing something bad. By the way this story is very nice and special. It reminds me of these two dogs of mine and I cried when I read this story.

I am reading past posts of triondians who are my favorites. I think your post here is of great quality not only for the story about Ben and his dog friends, but for all who read this. Well composed and contents has much meaning for many messages.

This is a nice post! In my mind I can picture Ben and his dogs--each dog sharing a day or two with him perhaps--and the hidden softness of the human heart in Ben. What makes this charming for me is the compassion showed by a heart who doesn't receive any care or concern at all...Ben's heart. He who receives no kindness still knows how to be kind...

It's wonderful when people are observant enough to relate ordinary everyday things to Life's real purpose. The message is simple but profound, it warmed my heart. Keep writing, William!
