The sun shown it’s golden rays down on the river of black top that cooed to my bicylce as a lover would.

   I made my way down the street, making sure to stay on the side of the road for passing cars, as i stopped at the corner a car pulled up along side me. 

   I checked the right headlight for a signal and found none, so i presumed ever onward. 

   Then the inconsiderate driver took a right turn. I was forced to jerk my bike to the right while trying to pull the brake handle to my palm. I was able to avoid injury. THIS TIME!!

   The vehicularized moron was 1) on a cell phone while driving, and 2) didn’t use a turn signal to indicate which direction she would be moving that hulk of metal.

   That is just one of the many instances that i and many others who ride bicycles go through on a regular basis. I’ve barely avoided some rather nasty accidents by the skin of my teeth, and nine times outta ten it all could have been bypassed if the driver used a turn signal.

  I have done all i can(aside from wearing neon underarmor) to make myself more visible to cars. I’ve now started wearing my orange vest that i used to wear at night, during the day! I use a head light thirty minutes before sunrise and sunset.
