,Wouldn’t you like to walk with me, beside me, together in peace and harmony. 

Destination-happiness.

Time-now.

Wouldn’t you like to be wined and dinned to candle-light and treated like a human being;

diamonds, pearls, fur, leather whatever your vanity is.

We can walk in our own imagination:

Let’s begin to set the mood,

it’s 10:00p.m., we are at home gazing at the clock, determined to be on time with ourselves.

The moon is shining giving off it’s radiant light with the stars twinkling above.

We walk into the bathroom and take off our robe.  Slippers off.

We run the bubble bath and proceed to light the candles, we put on soft tunes to make the mood just right.

Time to set the stage.

Escape into the wonderful world of make believe.  No arguing-no complaints-no riducling, no injustices, no wars, no discrimination, no diseases, no poverty, no prisions, no sickness, no tears, no pain, no death.

Suddenly, there is a brief interruption, the phone rings, we run away from our imaginary happiness; it’s the curiosity that we almost slip, trip and fall, just to hear what’s going on outside our imagination.

“Ring”, we answer the phone, just to find there is no one on the other end,  we then attempt to get back into our imagination, but, then there’s a thump at the door, we look out of the window to see the pain of yesterdays, tomorrow’s newspaper.

We then take a seat, so desparately wanting to know what’s going on in the world.

We begin to read, it dawns on us,  We just left our moment of happiness. 

 Alone and waiting upon our return; the bubbles disappeared.  You gave up imaginary happiness to be consumed by a distraction- you had peace, you had harmony, you dinned alone and was content; (if only in your mind.)

Always remember,

Do not let anyone rob you of your mental stablity, take the phone off the hook, turn the lights off, no one home and

fall in love with yourself.
