It’s the little girl’s dream to get a Webkinz. Who wouldn’t? Well for sure I would not buy one of those menacing dolls! When my sister bought one a while back she would love it to death hugs, kisses you name it. I was completely fine with it. What I mean by that statement is that as long as she did not get in my way with that doll there would be peace in the house. Her and her semi-weird looking doll could get married for all I care and it would not bother me.

All was fine in the household until there was a TV ad from J.C. Penny saying that all Webkinz are able to go online and sign up for Webkinz World. That sent her through the roof. All of a sudden she had to get on the computer to play Webkinz World the first sign of Webkinz taking over people by storm. She got on for a couple of hours and played her heart out onto this website. We had to pull her off to go to bed. Scary right?

Just our luck her birthday was coming up and we all knew what Granny always gave the kids, 30 dollars. She figured she could get 3 more Webkinz and use them to get more accounts on Webkinz World. I got up went to my room and banged my head against the bedroom wall. Headache quickly followed.

4 months, 10 Webkinz later and still doing Webkinz World. She has told she won’t stop until she is on top. Just my luck I keep thinking what would happen if J.C. Penny had never started the Webkinz line. Where her money go to? A good college education? Something better than silly dolls? Who knows and the world will never know.

With over 100 hours behind her Spring Break expect more hours to come. Does this put into reality what these cute little dolls do to people? Children?
