SO it was about when i was in year 12. half way through just after half yearlies.
it was a friday. about 5 pm, Dad comes in my room and says “get dressed, lets grab something to eat”.
I was playing either dota or gta vice city/gta4.
When i got dressed in my casual as fuck jeans and even moar casual as fuck white T shirt, i noticed mum looked happy and sister looked cheery

It had been a while since family had decided to go out for a family dinner.(we always had dinner together, just never went out).
So everyone gets in the car and everyone gets out when we reach the destination.
To this point i still dont know where we are going to be dining.

we walked together for about 5 minutes before corssing a sushi train place.
In my head i was thinking, darn, i wish we could eat here…
Just as the thought flashed my mind, dad walked into the store.
*****fucking shocked (because my dad is usually a very conservative man when it came to spending money on over priced food).*****

(nothing special happens in this story but read on if you have nothing eles better to do )

by the time we sat down, i was very very and utterly confused.
Dad started picking out $4 dishes and even grabbed an $8 dish. I instantly felt like something was a trick, so i gave the excuse “I’m not feeling too well”.
mum dad and sister were all pigging out, like, i could do the maths of all the dishes and it was easily over $200 and it had only been 4 minutes or something…

So at the end of the night i had like $15 dollars worth of plates, (about 6 of the cheapest dishes).
and it turns out a friend of dad gave him a coupon for a family of 4 to eat as much as u like at this sushi train D:

I instantly felt super shit and hungry and like fail.
