I know a lot of people look at the title of this blog and are scratching their head. It has been exactly 3 months and 4 days that my family and I lost our home to circumstance in Florida. So we are a family without a home living in the back of a surprisingly roomy 2005 Peterbilt. Everything we own in storage and everything needed under the bunk, in the storage spaces and in the corner on the top bunk. The one sad point i must make is that we are not the only family in this situation. Many families due to either the economic failings of the US or the lack of work.

One thing that i know as we go into this new election. Is that i want the new president to look at my family and look at the many other trucking families that have to go through this, that something needs to change this economic crisis is not just bad for big business but bad for families the little people not the middle class but the homeless families, the homeless senior citizens. The 90 year old women that shot herself in the chest because she didnt want to be escorted out of her 38 year home. This is just some of the stories that i know of.
