This is on why I don’t want to work in the hospital anymore.
I was willing to settle for a couple of dollars less so long as there are people and I didn’t have to see drama and trauma. In the end, it really paid off because I was happier and I enjoyed my work more. I wanted to come to work and I wanted to be happy. I wasn’t happy at my work before. I was depressed and the nurses were bullying me at work too. I was tired of being bullied and working long hours. I was tired of demanding bosses. One thing that anyone should know is that the manager in the hospital will be demanding. They are not like a manager in other work environment. They will be very honest and straightforward which can really hurt.
When you’re a nurse, you’re a public worker and you’re just like a police officer. The rules are different when you come to work. You will get harsh criticism and feedback. You will also have to do unfriendly things like reporting other nurses or whistle blowing. They will also be whistle blowing you if you make a mistake. If you’re new, you will be having a difficult time trying to do everything perfectly. You will have many session of sitting down with the supervisor. I have been there and I know that the demand is not worth the price for me. It might be for other people but I know that the reason that there is a shortage because it’s not an appealing career and that’s why no one wants to study for it in college.
