Random Writing.

Dear John,

I know that you will probably never read this, but I wanted to write again. I wrote you a letter before, but I doubt you ever saw it. I just read a few recent articles about you. I read some of the Rolling Stone interview and I just felt numb. How similar we are. It is weird. I am just not saying that as a fan, but as a normal everyday person. Sometimes when people become famous, it just changes things in so many ways. Some for good, some not. You have money now, people know who you are, but inside you are the same. You can be standing in a crowd of your peers, but be the loneliest person there. I know how that is, not the fame, or money part, just everything else.

The first time I had ever heard about you, it was on the radio. I am a radio type of girl. I heard your song NO SUCH THING.  I was so moved by the lyrics of the song. In my mind I would play out scenes of what I thought was going on in my life when that song was played. I wanted so much to know who sang that song and how could I obtain that music. That one song ran through every emotion I could muster within minutes. It was a low then a high then a calm. I didn’t know your name, but I knew your song. When I finally did catch your name I wrote it down on something in my truck while trying to get out of a parking space after work. When I was able to get some time to go to good ol’ WalMart, I looked for your CD. There in the bin it was and I bought it.
