This literature tells the love story of two females with a quite huge age gap. This was written in a form of a birthday letter given to the younger female. The older female expressed her feelings for the younger one in this letter depite the dilemma they’re facing in their relationship.

On my study table
My Dearest Amelia,
I never realized how time flies by so fast that I will eventually witness your metamorphosis from a worm inside your cocoon into a beautiful butterfly as you enter and experience the sweetness and adventure of being 16. You are a girl no more and soon, you’ll be waving goodbye to your childishness as you enter the phase of maturity and out into the real world.
I never realized that I would learn many things from you despite your youthfulness and being a neophyte to the world of reality. You surely opened my eyes to what I refused to see before. You made me realized my strengths, my worth and my capacity as a person worth loving for. You love me so much that you softened my patience and stretched it further to prove its durability and flexibility. You love me so much that I find meaning in everything I do. You gave me inspiration (aside from my family) to achieve what I really want and plan to be in life. I am so thankful to God for bringing you into my life despite the great challenge that God wrapped with each other’s encounter.
I consider you as one of the gems of my life. You’re one of the greatest treasures that I value most in life. You gave me the reason to cry and learn from it, to fall and find opportuniy from it, to love and cherish it, to be happy and share it to everyone in order to create a pleasant atmosphere to live and breathe in, though the world may not be too kind on us.
In return for all the blessings God gave me, which includes YOU, I want to spend my life here on earth making people happy. That’s why, as someone whom I value so much, I give you all my best wishes for your birthday — Love, joy, peace, hope and faith. May these things remain with you and in your family circle, and may these last you the whole year through.
Wishing you a marvelous Natal Day! I love you and I am always here for you when you feel the world has turned its back on you. I am alwasy here, loving and caring for you. I won’t go until you ask me to.
