Can a nation so unlucky find love?

Dear Americans,

My vain attempt to love a nation hasn’t been met with the greatest applause. I’ll finish my Web series with this final letter to America; knowing that somewhere you are loved. At least by someone Down under.

America is wracked by internal arguments. The Republicans, on the outer, are finding all sorts of ways to derail Democrat politics. The Health Care Debate really set the cat among the pigeons with all sorts of invectives flying around. It’s a pity. At least the President is passing laws that probably benefit most. This President isn’t such a warmonger although he is sending more troops to Afghanistan.

That’s what I love about America. The people are vocal, loud, boisterous and ready for a verbal stouche. That’s what makes America so great really. You see everyone having there say – Conservatives, Liberals and Whatevers all having a good gasbag about pretty much anything or nothing at all. That’s what makes you so special; you are free.

I’ll finish up now with a final note, “I love you Yanks.” I hope that you find peace somewhere, somehow and that the times you find yourself in settle. America is truly a wonderful place to see and a great place to live in. You can find love with your friends.

Stay strong,

Love James xxoo

Thank you James for your very loving letter. Our politics are crazy and we do speak our minds. It’s nice to know you look on us with kindness. I wish you the best wherever you are but I hope you are not leaving us. We like having you around.
