I recieved this inspiration letter, but it was not signed.
I received a letter in the mail today, but it had no return address or signature to let me know who it was from. All that was with the letter was a short typed note that said, ” I received this letter a long time ago, and I think you could use it now.” Nothing else was in the envelope.
Here is a scan of the back since this side was less faded.
The letter is beautiful, and it did mean a lot to me. But I have no way of knowing who it’s from. If whoever sent this to me sees this article, please contact me! But for everyone else, I want to share this letter with you.
Here is what it said:
“Someday when you are down and feel you are at your absolute wit’s end, I want you to read this letter. I have no way of knowing when that day will be, nor the precise situation you are in. But I am begging you, do not give up. Things may look dark, and it may feel that you world is crashing at your feet. But never lose hope. Hope is what keeps humanity going, and without it, the world would be lost. It may be scary to hope, we are afraid to be let down. Break a piece of our heart, and bare our soul. But without it, we truly have nothing, If you are feeling there is no hope, think back to every dream you’ve ever had. I’m going to bet that those dreams have changed over the years, but never the less, you kept dreaming. A dream may have been crushed, but you found a new one. Things do change. Even in times of great sorrow, the pain does lessen with the passage of time. So do not give up, never give up. We are capable of greatness, no matter how bleak the outcome may seem. We can make a difference, and we can bring change. Because with hope, we can have everything. Know that even when you are surrounded by doubt, I believe in you. I have confidence in you that you will search your heart and soul and find the person you truly can be. You will be fine. It may not be an easy road to get there, but you will find your destiny, and the hope will live on.”
This letter made me cry, it is so relevant to what I’m going through. I hope it can help someone else too!
