UBS

Chicago Branch

Dear Sir or Madame:

I recently graduated from the University of Chicago and am seeking full-time employment working as a financial analyst for UBS.  Working in the investment banking side of such a reputable company is my career goal. This opportune position would be an ideal place to work, allowing me to further strengthen my skills and become a contributing asset to the company.

As I have reached the completion of my undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, I have accumulated skills and experiences that will help me in my career.  The diversity at this school has lead to increased communication and group skills important to any business situation. During my time at the university, I worked an ongoing internship with Merrill Lynch as a financial assistant. This position boosted my leadership qualities as I was in charge of organizing and implementing several financial campaigns.  Also, studying a semester in Australia, through my university’s foreign exchange program, opened my eyes to many new and exciting challenges. My experiences throughout my undergraduate years have given me a valuable perspective, one which greatly complements my international finance degree.

Ultimately, a full-time position is the step I am aggressively pursuing.  I am positive I can be an asset to the UBS and am looking forward to hearing from you.  Thank you for taking your time to consider me for this position.

Sincerely,

Jane Doe
