Letter to Mom.

Dear Mom,
I was sitting here thinking how I could compare you,
And the closest I could come up with is Styrofoam peanuts.
You are:
Small, yet conforming.
Sturdy, yet forgiving.
Protective, yet breakable.
You may be little,
But you can fill the space
with your love and laughter.
Your love and caring fill
The gaps of my heart when
I am sad or in despair,
Just as the peanuts surround
And protect their precious cargo.
Thank you for being you and protecting me
even when I didn’t think I needed it!
I Love You!
