Love. What is love? Have you ever fallen in love? It’s easy to fall in love but when you want to get out of a relationship, that could be the hardest thing to do. Is love important in our life?

We have heard many times that when we fall in love with someone, we will always think about the person every moment, every minute and in fact, every second. Just like when I read, I will start to think of the sweet moments that I had with someone that I like, out of my conscious. Now I realize why I take such a long time to finish up my books. Just as I am writing this, I start to think of a ‘good morning’ that someone wished me days ago. Normally, I feel that greetings are always a waste of time. Why do we have to wish ‘Good morning’? Is it really important? I do not have a watch to tell me that it’s morning or afternoon? Why do you need to say ‘Hi’ every time I saw you? Aren’t you tired of saying ‘Hi’? However, when that simple phrase is wished by someone special, I’ll take note of it and extremely delighted. The greeting by that particular person tells me that he actually pays attention to me. After the greeting, I’ll start to think back. How was my hair? Oh my goodness! My hair was messy when he saw me. Why did he wish me at that moment suddenly? It’s so embarrassing. I’m not prepared! I should have replied ‘Morning’ in a brighter manner and I should have given a nice smile. If the greeting was by someone else, I wouldn’t think about it at all. I wouldn’t care or even remember greetings by others. However, a simple and common word by that special one can be so powerful that it can stir up my mind and I can remember the whole scene in 4D, not just merely a black and white memory.  And, it is as if it had just happened this morning. So, love makes us think of the past and do some self reflection too.

Not only that, have you ever go to the extent of putting a nickname similar to the person that you love, just so that the two of you will seemed to be more matching ? For instance, if the person that I love is Aaron, I would thought of putting my nickname as Karen. If I like Joe, I’ll put my nickname as Joey. Joe and Joey, Aaron and Karen. Doesn’t that sound nice and sweet? Thus, love will make you to be a more romantic person and when you are in love, you will do all your best to impress and make the day of the other half of you. When a love exists, it actually makes another person to be happy too. Therefore, love spreads happiness.

Isn’t that having a lover is like having a dessert? You can choose whether you want to order a dessert or not after your meal. Yes, you can choose whether you want to love someone or not. Even when you order your dessert, you will skim through the pictures or illustrations first in the menu. You will be attracted to the picture that looks scrumptious and makes you want to try it, and then place your order. Isn’t that this is similar to love at first sight? When you like the person, you will go after them. Thence, I would assimilate a love feeling with enjoying a plate of white chocolate cheese tart. I’m always looking for my favorite white chocolate cheese tart wherever I go to because love makes me start to believe that there are love cupids which will match us. Ergo, love has the might to convince us into believing things that we never believe before. Love makes us to believe in miracles. For me, love is certainly important in our life.

Love is the sweetest dessert in our life.
