A letter to my Triond friends.

Today is October 9, 2009 and when I woke up this morning I was fifty years old. Yes, today is my birthday. Now, I don’t feel fifty and some folks lie and tell me I don’t look fifty years old. I try to take good care of myself. As a nurse I have seen old and sick, so if I have to age I want to be old and healthy.

Being an October baby I love all things Halloween and this year my husband did the nine days to Pam’s Birthday. Yes, friends I am spoiled just ask my children. Beginning with the first day of October I received a small silly Halloween gift which completed its run with roses this morning. Tonight we have dinner and dancing

My house looks like Halloween Central, starting in my living room rounding to the kitchen and finishing in the family room, Halloween is everywhere.

The reason for this silly letter is to tell all my dear friends I will be out of town until the 19th of October. My husband and I leave Sunday for Walt Disney World. We went in December for his birthday and plan to enjoy mine there too. We love Disney World and every three years we buy a Florida Season Pass and go at least two to three times in that year. Our daughter is house, bird and dog sitting and our son who works evening shifts will be coming in the day to play with the dogs. They will be so spoiled when we return.

I will try to catch up on all my friends today and on my return look forward to reading all your latest adventures and viewing your pictures. Tomorrow will be a busy day with laundry, packing and for my husband lawn care.

Take special care all my dear Triond friends and I will see you again in about ten days.

                                                  With caring and friendship, Pam

Happy Birthday! You don’t look a day over 50! Tomorrow you will look a day over 50. Just kidding – you look young and vital – must be the dancing. You are so fortunate to have a romantic husband who dances with you.

Have a great trip! Say Hi to Mickey and the gang for us.

Oh, and don’t worry about the kids spoiling your pets. You can repay the favor when they drop off the grandkids.

Happy! Haven’t you heard? Fifty is the new 40. The only time 50 is scary for me is in a 35 mph zone.

    Pam,
So sorry to have missed your birthday! I’ve been so busy with the band and a few other things, I haven’t had much time to comment or message anyone for a while. I will be catching up on my friends, now that I have a little time. I’ll message you soon, and let you know everything that’s been going on. Happy Belated Birthday Pam! You’re only as old as you feel. Me, I don’t feel my age at all. Age is just a number. If you start telling yourself that your old, then you will be old. Hope you had a great day and a great trip. Lets see some new pictures of Disney World.
