Dear Sir/Madam,

        I am writing to raise the following concern to you. All the neighbourhood people were horrified to hear that our beloved centre is going to be demolished to make way to build another school in our community. We have a total of 8 schools already. We are all wondering  why we need 9 schools in 1 neighbourhood!

Our community  loves the Centre. We all use it all the time as a meeting place or just to hang out. There are toddler groups and youth clubs held all over the week days as well. Over 70% of the neighbourhoods teenagers use the centre. If you close the centre they will be forced to the street  and we will have a rise in vandalism. Also elderly people will have no where to meet friends or will have to travel 5 miles to the nearest community centre. This will cause much pollution by driving and some elderly people are not fit enough to even drive . Even toddler groups are held during the after noon. If the centre closes the toddlers and mothers will have no where to go. Also if a new school gets built the toddlers will only get to go and use the facilities in the evening when there is no point because the toddlers will be asleep . What would every one do?    The centre is good for all ages. We all hope that you deeply feel for us and realise the negative effect this will cause to the community.
