Dear Admissions Committee:

I am delighted to have been asked to write a note on behalf of Richard and Christine Walker’s application for membership to RYC. I was first introduced to Christine well over ten years ago through her father Rick Smith, a long-time friend of mine.  Beth and I were thrilled to hear that she and Richard had moved back to Riverside from London in 2006 together with a growing family. Since then, I’ve had the chance to get to know both of them better along with their four darling boys.  

I feel particularly confident that Richard, Christine, Jackson, George, James, and Callum would make a wonderful addition to the RYC community not only because of their great enthusiasm for sailing but also for their strong interest in the variety of other activities our club has to offer them (tennis, swimming, camps, junior sailing, etc.).  I do hope the committee will give their application the special attention it truly warrants!
