A letter I made for homework. My teacher said it was the best one in the class.
Dear Father,
How is the war treating you?
We are missing you so much. We hope you survive.
Are there many wounded soldiers?
Every day, Mother and I pray to God that your own soldiers haven’t shot you by accident. Mother has been locking herself in her room and crying for the past week.
She just wishes you were home early and safe.
We know you are probably going to be all right because you are a medic, and medics are not allowed to be shot while they are transporting injured soldiers to the hospital.
We are sending this package to inform you that we are okay and we thought you could use some spare medical supplies.
Wish you were here,
From your son John Beggs and family.
