Enclosed please find a letter drafted by myself to  itemizing and proposing resolution to our Divorce Proceedings.  This letter however is not in regards to the case but is intended to hopefully allow you to take a more sensitive position with respect to future client matters.  I have included a poem that I wrote for Nicole that puts in perspective the emotions that your clients deal with.  To an attorney this is your job, but to your clients, this was their life, and whatever is left over is their new beginning.  Unfortunately and contrary to popular belief, there is no winner and loser in a divorce; both respondent and defendant end up losers.  Lives are torn apart and children are the ones who suffer the most.   I hope you take these words to heart as a new outlook to the insufficient process that we currently call divorce.  For something to start with so much love and happiness, but end with coldness and distance is tragedy. Please consider these words as a way to understand the complexity of emotions that both your clients and their former spouses are faced to deal with just based on the separation alone.  This process is flawed and is designed to create an industry that preys on one of the most vulnerable moments in any man or woman’s life.  I leave you with a simple statement that just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.  Thank you for taking time to listen to my viewpoint.
