Dear Mr. Edwards

My name is Abbadonn the Destroyer born in some time BC. I am writing to you about your piece “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. I feel that you are a true inspiration, for a human. Your piece “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” truly exemplifies the wrath of the almighty. I, being the fallen angel of destruction, have experienced this wrath to its fullest extent. I wish to encourage you to continue preaching this sermon for every good deed I do gets me closer to God’s good graces. Finally as the angel of destruction, I have a certain love of drama that your sermon contains aplenty. I would additionally like to thank you for giving this speech, which has inspired me to change my ways.

The way you describe the wrath of God fits so perfectly with its true magnificence the words on the page may as well be taken from the mind of a damned man. However, the description of god not using this power on those who sin is fully false. As a fallen angel I can tell you that as soon as the arch angel, Lucifer, and the rest of us rebelled we were punished harshly.

I know that you, Mr. Edwards, are correct about the whole “angry god” thing but there is also the side of the “forgiving god”. If you continue to spread god’s word and I am able to encourage you to do so, I will be closer to gods good side. Anyone who you spread this word to and are successful in converting will also be closer to god’s good side because he is merciful.

Forever in your debt,

Abbadonn the Destroyer

[EDIT: I realized after writing this that Abbaddon was NOT fallen but just pretend it was switched out with Lucifer if it bothers you]
