A letter to King George the II persuading him to sign a charter allowing Englishmen to explore and settle in Georgia.
Dear King George II
I’m here to inform you on the great reasons for signing this charter for us to go to Georgia. There are many great reasons for us to go. Such as the poor people will be able to find new land and get out of this country. The next is there is probability that the colonists and I will find riches. The jails will be cleaner and it will have more space for the real criminals. We will have some of the first steps in Georgia. Please think about this letter. Consider the country, the poor people, and the jails. If you decide to sign it England’s name will be in history forever.
Thanks,
A concerned subject
