This is letter to president Bush thanking him for his service to America.

Mr. George W. Bush. I was reading the news of you being occupied with the possible hurricane Gustov making land fall and Mr. Richard Cheney being out of the country while the republican convention is being held. Let me say I am completely disappointed in the “authorities” that preferred you not be at this convention.

For several decades, I have been witness, like many Americans, to the terrorist attacks perpetrated against the USA. I long ago concluded that some thing substantial needed to be done in order to deal with this issue. It is not productive to allow any person or groups of person’s to attack our home and not suffer any consequences. You were right Mr. President.

The leadership of Iraq posed a great threat to the United States of America. Sadam had become a very dangerous person in the Middle East. Many UN reports document the weapons Mr. Sadam Hussien had developed and was in possession of at one time. In addition, we all are aware of the Iran and Iraq war, Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, and the “gassing” of the Kurdish people. Mr. Hussien had proven him self a person with no respect for any one and with stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons.

Because of your actions, Mr. Bush America is safer. There has not been a terrorist attack on American soil since September 11, 2001. In addition, many international fugitives have been brought to justice and removed from a society they plan on harming. Furthermore, your emphasis on this challenge has produced greater attention on this challenge by many other leaders of nations.

It is a great tragedy in this country that people can be so easily led by the deliberate lies of the American news media. Many people in America do not know how much they owe you. I have a great appreciation of your sacrifice and service to America.

You have taken the responsibility of defending this nation in spite of all the obstacles and deliberate sabotage by liberals, democrats, and members of the American news media. Every night they report on innuendo and supposition. I have yet to see one spec of credible evidence that you have done anything wrong.

Yet, they have painted you as a bad president. In addition, I fear the republicans have fallen to the fear of what will happen to them is they appear close to you. Well, for me this is the last straw.

I know you are a great person. Moreover, I have a lot of admiration and respect for you sir. Thank you for you service to this country. My approval rating of you will always be 100%.

As for Mr. McCain in concerned I am reverting to my principle attitude towards him and no longer going to write in support of him. This political season of the last eight years has been one where the worst of the liberals has been evident. I was hoping that Americans would recognize the need to be mature and see the terrorist challenge for what it is today. Yet, people are happier being petty, immature, and parrots of the liberal news media. The fact that you will not be at the republican convention is evidence that people are still more concerned with petty politics then the challenges we face.

A mature and enlightened citizenry can deal with issues America faces. These citizens know what the challenge is and know how to plan to meet this challenge. However, we have not learned anything, if people can cast you and your staff of to the side as if you and they are not one of us.

I know the difference between honorable men and convenient politicians. In addition, I would rather be on your side Mr. Bush then help people who are part of the problem. We need more honorable men like your self Mr. President, who put America above politics.

Again, sirs thank you for your service. America had a great president in you. I believe you will be the last sincere, honest, president who knew how to tackle the responsibilities of the job with grace and dignity.

In closing, I wish you and your family well. Furthermore, I know you can count on that many Americans, including my self, will always be grateful for your service. Our Lord Jesus Christ keep you well and looking forward to shaking your hand when we meet in Heaven.

Thank you and all who serve under you.

Sincerely,

MR. Jesus Lopez-Ledesma

Right on, Mr Ledesma! George Bush is too smart to answer his cowardly critics. He refuses to take his eye off the goal, KEEPING AMERICA SAFE!
