We all spend so much time looking for Mr. Right, or Miss Right; sometimes without even realizing it, they are there, right in front of you. Through the years, our lives intertwined, and we never really saw each other. We were fifteen may sixteen, when our paths first crossed, and again through the years several more times. One day our path cross and we became the best of friends. That was all we were for a while, we hung out, we talked, but there was always another person there, so we never had the time to see each other with our heart.

Being able to look into someone eyes, is the window to their sole, and when you can see, clearly, then you have met your sole mate. When I finally had the opportunity to look into your eyes, I saw deep inside; it was at that moment I knew that one day, you and I would be Mr. & Mrs.

Within you I was able to see the fun to be shared, the days to be spent together. It was at that moment that I knew I loved you. I knew we would have our up and down, while dating but we got through them all, learning about each other, ignoring things we do not like now. Isn’t that funny how then it was cute, and we tolerated those things we now find annoying. Even today with those things that you do, that totally annoy me, I know that I do not see me, without you.

As time went on, we got married and did what married folks do. In time we went on to have children, and that created a whole new set of ups and downs, but together we will survive.

Together we walked the beaches of the Caribbean, we hiked in the woods, and we held hands as we looked up at the stars. At night we sat and held each other close, watching our favorite television show, and we snuggled close in bed. Those were the days, and I look forward to those day when we can do all those things again, as our children leave the nest; leaving the two of us, alone and together.
