Greetings! My name (or rather, one of my many names) is Chris Alan Ralston. You have met me before. Probably you know me better under another name: Chris Alan Starbright.

Or do you?

What I mean is this: Chris Alan Starbright is in a way my mirror-image. If he and I were both Human, then he and I would have a psychological relationship of Contrasts. Taking a cue from the old Jungian personality type vocabulary, his Primary cognitive processes are my Shadow cognitive processes – and vice versa. When I entered the Total Immersion Matrix (TIM) created by John Barnabus the Realm Master (a Scientist or INTJ), the timeline that was created reflected the Shadow side of my personality – yet in a transformative way. Thus Chris Alan Starbright became a Protector (INFJ), as I am an Inspirer (ENFP).

Like NFs generally speaking, I had as a Human (and still have as a Son of God in Power) a love of fantasy and role-playing. For me as an ENFP, it’s like acting – psycho-dramatic acting, in fact. I love the technical side of the timeline of the Covenant Realm, but that is but the stage on which the drama of sentient beings plays out. So from time to time, when I visit New Jerusalem, I also visit John Barnabus’ office apartment and re-enter TIM. At this stage of the timeline my original entry created, I do so as his heir and that of the Lord of the Realms Himself: the Hooded Man, the Locus and Catalyst of the Metacosmic Realms, able to exercise the Divine Nature as I see fit so that the created beings in the Realms remain free to choose between Good and Evil.

One thing Chris Alan Starbright and I have in common: we don’t write to live so much as live to write. This is why so many of his adventures have been chronicled for you, and will continue to be chronicled (the Lord willing).

But I think you’ve seen enough of what a Son of God in Power does in play. What does he do for a living (so to speak)?

I rule. I create and form and make. I compose and sing and play. I investigate and invent. I interact with God and the Lamb and with my brethren. What is contained in those few words is so beyond Human comprehension that I’m not sure that I can make it clear to you. Perhaps I can make it visible “through a mirror dimly”, in the apostle Paul’s words. And perhaps it would be profitable to tell you something of my experiences as a Human on Old Earth, in the days before the Kingdom of God was restored to it. Perhaps even some of my experiences in the first eleven hundred years of that Kingdom’s rule will be profitable to you.

As my counterpart in the Covenant Realm once put it (in a way that drew upon his own Shadow processes and not his Primary ones as a Protector), enjoy the ride…
