This is the way it happens out in the hot country night life. It’s a story that repeats itself often in this less prentious world of country boots, cowboy hats and blue jeans painted on pretty derrieres. You may have heard something like it in a country song.
You think I’m still in misery
But I’m getting over you
That old cloud done passed over
And the sunshine’s blasting through
I got a carnival of bright lights
Pretty women coming on
And thru that door
Here comes some more
I may never make it home
I could have a heart attack
Celebrating like I do
But I hope I live a century
I deserve it after you
Just coming back to life again
I found therapy right here
She’s at least a nine
Ain’t no pain this time
Till she bites me on the ear
Do it, do it one more time
A hundred times or two
Bite that lobe and down that road
She knows the avenue
I’m living life all over
