About about a really lonely night I was having. I started off emo, but I couldn’t keep that going for long.

[Refrain]

Just listen to my piano
and know I understand your sorrow
A world in which your peers
couldn’t recognize your tears.
But I’m here
here for you
And I’ll sing
Sing with you

It’s the day of the week
when you feel incomplete
Alone in the dark, once again
Expecting a call, a symbol, a sign.
Something to bring, or rather to prove
that a friend will come to rescue you.
We both know that friend won’t show.
They couldn’t see that you’re in need.
A shoulder to cry, a hand to lead.
But I’m here
And I know
Neglect the bottle
Let me carry you to sleep,
and take my words,
they’re forever yours to keep.

[Refrain x 1]

Sing with me this song,
its enough to keep it quiet.
If loneliness were anger,
we’d have enough to start a riot.
But you’re not alone,
a million homes,
all across existence
can count a bed
without a head.
And for every bed
there is a star
looking down to where you are
Through blurry eyes
we view the skies,
and know the stars can sympathize.
And if the stars could write a song
together we could sing along.
So you can’t be alone,
and you can’t lose key
with help from a body, heavenly

[Refrain x 2]

If you will take it,
I’ll give you my hand.
Alert all the stars
and we can strike up the band.
It’s a lonely night,
not so lonely,
not so lonely,
anymore.
