I’ll show you just who loves you.

Verse One

There was a time I didn’t have a care,
I didn’t think love would come my way,
I didn’t have anything but this heart to share,
Then you came a long and said you wanted to stay,

Verse Two

I knew love had knocked on my door,
With each passing day,
I grew to love you even more,
Not once have I gone astray.

Verse Three

When I look in your eyes,
I see love standing there,
That’s when I realize
Just how much you care

Chorus

Your love is the fire,
That burns way down deep,
That fills my heart with desire,
That never sleeps.

Verse Four

You’re now all my yesterdays,
That we look back on,
That makes me glad you’re here to stay,
You are the one that loves me the whole night long,

Verse Five

Not a day goes by,
That your love doesn’t get me through,
I can see it in your eye,
That your love is true,

Verse Six

I know when the night begins,
That behind closed doors,
You’ll show me a love that’ll never end,
Fade: And I’ll show you just who loves you even more.

Since I just saw the movie Fireproof with the theme of never leaving the one you love, this song reminds me of the movie and the strength found when love is an enduring choice. . . very cool lyrics!
