This is a song I wrote five years ago when a friend of mine was being stalked by a woman with mental problems.
Fantasy
By
R.B. Parsley
Verse One:
Your livin’ in a world of your own,
One that won’t be shared by me,
Because I’m not alone,
So darlin, your dream won’t be a reality,
No matter how much you want it to be
Verse Two:
You say your heart is true,
But that can’t be,
Cause I don’t know you,
And you don’t know me,
Chorus:
Someone else has my heart,
Together we’ve made memories,
I took a vow we wouldn’t part,
She’s saw me through all my sorrow and misery
Verse Three:
So try to understand,
There won’t be no you and me,
I’m not that kind of man,
I don’t want to be your fantasy,
Verse Four:
Your makin’ plans,
For something that won’t be,
I’m someone elses man,
So quit pretending you know me,
Fade: Your living in a fantasy.
