Standing in the courts of the city, the judges asking for His plea, just show us one sign from Heaven so we’ll know You are who You claim to be…

Surely You can call on Angles to save You you from this fate
But as they bound His hands behind Him He asked the Angles to wait
They marched Him thur the city unable to bear His own cross
And He heard the people saying He says He’s come to save the lost
Yes He could have called Angles to take Him from that awful place
But as they drove the nails thur Him He asked the Angles to Wait

All the Angles in Heaven waited for His command
But every soul that He loved He held in His blood stained hands
And even as God in Heaven from Him turned His face
He knew the will of His Father so He asked the angles to wait

Between two theifs they hung Him on a hill outside of town
Saying if He is the Son of God lets see God get Him down
He could have called on Angles to save Him from this shame
But He knew His work was nearly finshed so He asked the Angles to wait

All the Angles in Heaven waited for His command
But Every soul that He loved He held in His blood stained hands
And even as God in Heaven from Him turned His face
He knew the will of His Father so He asked the Angles to wait

Interesting song, are you going to post it with the music soon if you can? I can’t wait to hear it.

I take my previous comment back.

I just reread it and I have no clue to what I was thinking.

This is very very beautiful and while I’m not religious this still really touched my heart.

Interesting angle on the Angels being the saviours of the Saviour…It remains somewhat of a profound mystery that He, Christ, could have saved Himself quite handilly; but chose otherwise and accepted mortal pain and death….

beautifully written, He could ask the angles to take off the cross, hung by two theifs , He was our Lord and savor.
