Lyrics for a new song. I rush around like mad – it is my birthday, and it is time to slow down and enjoy the moment, to view the scenery, smell the roses, sing the songs. Psalm 16 verse 11 tells me that in God’s Presence there is fullness of joy, I want to walk on the path of life that keeps me in that joy, that peace, that love.
I will slow down and enjoy the moment,
This is my life, this is my time.
The path of life, God has shown me,
I belong to Him, and He is mine!
He lifts me up, on angel’s wings,
He gives me songs, and my soul sings,
From the clouds of Earth, I rise above,
To know His PEACE, and feel His LOVE!
I need to pray, and share with others,
The love of God, for ev’ry soul.
He gave His life, for ev’ry human,
He forgives each sin, and makes men whole.
He’ll lift you up, on angel’s wings,
He’ll give you songs, Your soul can sing.
From the clouds of Earth, You’ll rise above,
To know His PEACE, and feel His LOVE!
