True love.

I am a poser and I hate myself
I think I’m taking it very well
Disclosing my thoughts, enclosing my words
Dont be surprised if I say something absurd
I’m just a book that seems to be read
Then you’ll be falling for me instead
This blackout is suspended and reassured with every last breath I take
And we’re just another falling mistake
Take great consideration before thinking this through
Think before you say this is true

(chorus)
I have broken these fable dreams
That was holding back these painful screams
I do not care about the surroundings blinding my view
As long I’m singing these tunes with you
We make up excuses for conversation sake
Ready, set, drink these sins and wait
Cause we’re going to a place where no one knows where we are
And together we’re wounded hearts on falling stars
Distancing each other from lifes insurgent fools
We may not be like them, but that’s the nostalgic rules

I distance myself from those who arent worth my time
But, they always seem to be with me when I’m starting to feel fine
While they push me down into my menacing core
Where my tears fall till’ my eyes become sore
I cant seem to control these thoughts in which have no meaning
And these twists and turns become somewhat keening
I have returned this blackout, and the suspension is gone
Together we’re going back to finish all that we done wrong

(chorus)
I have broken these fable dreams
That was holding back these painful screams
I do not care about the surroundings blinding my view
As long I’m singing these tunes with you
We make up excuses for conversation sake
Ready, set, drink these sins and wait
Cause we’re going to a place where no one knows where we are
And together we’re wounded hearts on falling stars
Distancing each other from lifes insurgent fools
We may not be like them, but that’s the nostalgic rules

Lets take this time to realize that nothing seems to fade
That we have no other escape except for this way
I know that it seems hard, but we can make it through
You and I know what we need to do
So, guard your heart, and hold up your shield
And hope to god that this fear will yield
And destroy the willingness of having distict memory
And we’ll erase this concealing sensory
Keep these thoughts simple and impulsive
And we’ll figure out how to make them moreproductive

(chorus)
I have broken these fable dreams
That was holding back these painful screams
I do not care about the surroundings blinding my view
As long I’m singing these tunes with you
We make up excuses for conversation sake
Ready, set, drink these sins and wait
Cause we’re going to a place where no one knows where we are
And together we’re wounded hearts on falling stars
Distancing each other from lifes insurgent fools
We may not be like them, but that’s the nostalgic rules
