As a Christian, I’d like to remember to “Crown Jesus” King of my life, King of my Day, King of each future hour — every morning of my life, a conscious decision before the day and its many duties and callings takes over my life. This song tells about that “crowning”.
Crown Jesus your King each morning,
Worship Him when you wake.
Make Him Lord of each moment,
He gives each breath that you take.
I Crown You, Jesus, King!
You are LORD of Today!
I’ll crown You each morning
And grant You Your Way.
My life will have more meaning,
I’ll serve You with more power.

King of Each Future Hour!
Give Jesus His way in choices,
Wait on Him for each task.
Make Him Lord of decisions,
All care on Him we must cast.

Tell Jesus of sin each evening,
Name each wrong and confess.
