Like the day of spring, my love is like the flowers, honeysuckles bring…
My love is like the shelter
That’s still not gone away
My love is here beside me
And she says that’s where she’ll stay
Promises and keepsakes
They all pass me by
I wake up in the earthquake
And watch the crumbling sky
But they don’t really matter
They all fall beneath the scene
‘Cause my love is still beside me
God swear that she’s a queen
Forty days ‘til rainbow
The skies are turned from gray
The clouds still dimly tarnished
Await the coming day
The skies will all be opened
His name shall reappear
But my love is still beside me
And I have no saint to fear
