When I was just a little child, my mama brought me a box of crayons.

Just for me. Well I opened them up and I looked way down inside.
Those colors They reminded me of when Jesus died.
Red is the color of blood . That he sheds.
Blue is for royalty. That which he did so well.
Brown is for the crown of thorns placed on his head.
Yellow is for the Christian. Whose afraid to tell.
Now that I’m much older now. The memory lingers on. So when I
see a little child . I tell them what they met to me. I hope they understand.
Red is the color of blood. That he sheds.
Blue is for royalty . That which he did so well.
Brown is for the crown of thorns placed on his head.
Yellow is for the Christian. Whose afraid to tell.
Yellow is for the Christian. Whose afraid to tell.
