Winter: I Wear a Parka in the Shower

I was furious at the winter season, so I wrote a song.

The racking coughs
Sink in my bones
My head hurts so bad
Every muscle is twisted
I’m alright

My brain aches
My body shakes
I’m always tired
Yet she tears at me

I can’t eat
I can’t sleep
My mind is racing,
Constantly pacing

I worked so hard
And got shot down
The winter’s coming
The leaves fall down

Winter, by far
The most depressing season
You can’t say it’s not
Can’t give a good reason
