(This is my first song writing attempt. To picture this story: I’d say the interpretation is that these are two people who know each other, probably friends, and know that each other have been through a lot. They also know that they want each other, but their hearts are guarded. And this is the moment they may have their first kiss…and they have to choose to take the leap, or to run away in denial. It’s the moment when your lips are inches away from each other, and you can feel everything about them on the inside and out, before your lips ever touch. The song reflects the internal thoughts that they haven’t shared to each other, until that moment. I think this is the wish of any woman that’s ever been broken hearted, to find that person to repair it.)
