This article is the second part of my vision for UPD-Institute of Chemistry’s grand musical presentation as a separate activity for its centennial year. This write-up includes primarily the rough draft of the plot of the musicale.

Tentative Major Characters

Although I already have names in mind, I have decided to give the final names of the major characters only when this play becomes more concrete and auditions are really ready to be made for the said parts. For now, forgive me for using (Name of Group) (B for Boy/G for Girl)(Number) for this rough draft of the plot. Example: Brawn B1

Rough Draft of Plot

One will notice that the following is a super rough draft of the plot of the musicale. Also it is obvious that some parts were unfilled. In lieu of this, I would like to implore your help to provide songs that are suitable to complete the play. In addition, comments and suggestions are significant in converting this musical backbone into the real script.

question. who would choreograph and teach the technical aspects of singing the songs?

singing and dancing at the same time is hard, and must be practiced to the max. also, how would you assign the characters? audition? or pili na lang basta? kasi i know chem people na may talent (especially the cheerdancers part kasi nung time namin back to back CS cheerdancing champions kami hehehe. some of us are still in IC).

ok naman yung concept, though hindi ba masyadong mahaba? mga gano katagal yung buong presentation?
