Darkness falls at 11:43
(Part two of 2)
The girl popped back into his mind. However, as quickly as she came, she disappeared because now Adrian found himself in a completely dark place. It was pitch black. He did not know if he was still levitating or if he was laying on something. He tried to move, but it was no use as he was still paralyzed. He started to panic. The light at least gave him comfort, but the darkness shattered all of that comfort. But what could he do? He couldn’t move! He couldn’t see! After he saw how pointless it was to fight, Adrian decided to get lost in his thoughts. This time he thought about what had happened. He questioned himself. What was that thump? Was it related to the light and the current darkness? He did not have the answers. He gave up on finding them. Instead, he went deeper into his mind and tried to relax. As hard as it was to even take a full breath, Adrian managed to calm himself down.
The girl’s face flashed before his eyes. He thought he could see, but it was only an image of the mind. His mind was starting to play tricks on him. He yelled out in frustration. He was able to open his mouth and make noise. His paralysis was wearing off. Adrian finally had some good news. In a matter of minutes he would be able to move, or so he thought.
However, as he began to regain his fighting spirit, the light appeared again. This time it was not as bright. It was actually a normal light. He could see again!
As he regained control of his eyeballs, he saw a clear glass window to his right. There was nothing unique about the window except for the shape. It was something Adrian could not describe. He shifted his eyeballs to the left. There was only a wall. He thought he was in a hospital room, but that didn’t seem right. He had never seen a hospital room like this one before.
