Parallel Worlds
It’s Just the Beginning

Prologue

There was a time period long ago when vampires, lycans, and humans lived among each other in peace. Well, at least it was peaceful while the humans had no idea that vampires and lycans existed.  One day that had all changed when a young boy stumbled across the land of the lycans, a place they called Sylvania. After the incident, humans became afraid. They made war with the lycans. Not long after the beginning of the war, the vampires joined the war on the side of the lycans. To help the lycans drive the humans away from there homeland. This is where I begin my story…

The humans pushed the lycans and vampires all the way to an armed fortress the humans called the Wall of Darkness. There, the vampires and lycans were able to defend against any attack.

The humans were dead-set on the extermination of all vampires and lycans. The humans were constantly on the offensive. They would attack during the night in hopes of catching the vampires and lycans off guard, yet the vampires and lycans would drive them back fiercely.

Chapter 1
The Story Begins.

Silver looked out of a window and surveyed the land that was before him. The land that they were now abiding in was not a very pleasant land. The grass was withered and thin, there were no streams or rivers save one small trickle of water that had been channeled into a well in the center of the fortress. There was no wildlife to speak of, save some insects and parasites. There was no brush or flowers, no trees. Silver watched the enemy encampment a few miles off, he could see multiple clouds of smoke coming from many campfires that were smoldering between the tents of the enemy. “You look uneasy, what’s wrong?” Said Sage, whom Silver didn’t realize was behind him. “Hello Sage, where have you been?” Asked Silver with a nervous look on his face. “With the others, down below. But you still haven’t answered my question.” Sage replied. Silver gave a sigh, looked out of the window at the enemy encampment and said. “There hasn’t been a lot of activity in the camp this week; I think something is going to happen.” “Yes. I too, have noticed that. But all we can do wait. So long as we are in this fortress, they cannot get to us. No matter how hard they bang on these doors. I was around many years ago when this fortress was built and it has never fallen.” Reinsured, Silver said. “Thanks, Sage.” Sage laid his hand on his shoulder and said. “How about you come down there with there rest of us?” “No thanks Sage, I’ll stay here.” Replied Silver. “Well ok then, we’ll see you later.” Said sage as walked back down the enormous flight of stairs behind them. After Sage had left, Silver began to Stare out the window again.
