A letter to my Triond friend.

Our Happy Home. Photo owned by PR Mace.

My Dear Triond Friends,

I am taking this weekend off to spring clean my house. In fact, I do this twice a year in the spring and fall. Starting tomorrow I will wash all the windows, blinds and curtains, take all the pictures off the walls, wash the walls, polish everything in the house that is wood, shampoo furniture and wash and wax floors.

I will work from the time I awaken until late each evening. Last year my husband took off to help, and to be honest all we did was fight, and he got in my way. I asked him to work this weekend while I clean. This is the best way to retain our happy marriage.

I am writing this to ask you not to forget me. I will be gone and unable to write or read my friends much during this period. I will try to catch a few minutes here and there to read as many of you as possible.

Once the major cleaning is done, I hope for a long peaceful summer with more time to write. I have a ton of stories and ideas in my head, which I have written on my writer’s list. I love to write and miss the times, I can’t. I know I was really born to a wealthy family, and switched at birth. I have wealthy taste but not the wealth, such is life.

All of you take care and continue to write so I have great posts to read. I will see you once this chore is done, and I have recovered.

Your friend in writing, PR Mace aka Pam

Oh how I appreciate the timing of your article! I too have been caught up in spring cleaning and getting things ready for the summer. In doing so, I have neglected my commenting or writing articles. It is difficult sometimes to balance both. Yesterday I published an article and thankfully, you were one of less than 10 that commented. How soon people forget you. :)

I have cleaned out a closet today and already have the bag in my car going to the thrift store tomorrow. Now if I just keep going, I might get the whole house done.

I wish I could become so enthusiastic! I’ve often aired my views on housekeeping! I hope it was all completed and that now you are enjoying the results.
